Circa 3500 BTS

The Creators depart, moving on to other planes of existence. The present pantheon of gods rises to power in their absence. The first true human kingdom, named after the fallen hero Ildikar, forms in the aftermath of the Horde Wars. Over the next 500 years, the kingdom grows into the Empire of Ildikar – acquiring more land and power than any reign the world has ever known. The heart of the Empire is a beacon of culture and knowledge, while the outskirts are war-torn and difficult to govern.
